Deuteronomy 6:4
The Bible teaches that there is only one true God.   This one true God holds us accountable to Him through the revelation of creation – Romans 1:18-20.

1 Corinthians 8:4-5
Though people may believe there are other gods, there is only one God.

Other Verses about the Trinity

Matthew 3:13-17
This is the baptism of Christ.  Here we notice Jesus in the water, the Spirit is coming down like a dove, and the Father is speaking from Heaven – three distinct persons.

Matthew 28:19-20
This is the Great Commission for every Christian.  In it, we are taught to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.  There is only one name.

2nd Corinthians 13:14

This verse shows that the One True God is the three in one.

Matthew 18:20; John 3:13
Jesus teaches that He is everywhere at once, another proof that He is God.

John 15:26
The Spirit is said to do something only a person can do:  testify or speak.

Psalm 99:5
The one True God is supremely holy, pure, without any evil, and cannot allow sin.
